Jamie Moves to the Final Voting Round!

Hello and Happy Hump Day everyone! I'm SUPER excited to share the news that Jamie's design for the Create A Greeting Card Scholarship Contest has been selected to move on to the final voting round.

[[[Now, if you really don't like the idea of me using my blog as a platform for this, I apologize if it offends you. Just click out now and don't sweat it. (I actually had one "opt-out" from their subscription to my blog because of that first post, stating it was distasteful). Just know that I don't make it a habit to do this type of thing, but right now I'm simply a proud mama. And everyone could use a little help toward college tuition these days, right?]]]

With that out of the way, we received this wonderful e-mail today and it reads:

Hi Jamie,

We have some great news! We have officially kicked off our Final voting round and your design is included! The voting period starts today and runs until 4/1/15. At the end of this final voting round, the top 5 vote getters and 5 designs that our scholarship team chooses will make up the final 10. It will be from these final 10 designs that a winner will be chosen for the Create-A-Greeting-Card Scholarship Contest.

We absolutely have YOU to thanks for her success. Between all of you here on the blog and the others on Twitter and Facebook who voted, YOU are the reason she's moved on. So we thank you over and over again.

If you'd like to vote in this final round, here's the link, and here's another look at her artwork below. You can vote once per day every day until the voting ends on April 1st.

THANK YOU AGAIN!

  7. What wonderful news. Annette as I see it you share so much of your wonderful talent with all of us at just a click-how generous you are and obviously your talent has rubbed off on your daughter and she is the new generation of artists - she deserves our support because we are all artists and art is important. She is very talented - her card - that drawing is very moving. You should be proud. Go Girl!

  10. The way I see it Annette, this is your blog and you are free to do whatever you like. You should be proud of Jamie's artistic talent and unfortunately there are some crummy people in this world. Glad you didn't let them get you down. :)
Best of luck Jamie, hope you win!!!
